25 Moving Portraits
Real People - Powerful Stories
ELLXS - the Spanish inclusive pronoun for them.
It includes all of us.
ELLXS is a movement. A photography/documentary project to visibilize and support the LGBTQ+ community. Our first collection consists of 25 moving portraits of trans and non binary people.
We are a diverse and international team of creators defending equality and inclusion. The founder, Cecilia Villaverde, is an experimental filmmaker and visual artist who has been documenting the trans and LGBTQ+ community in Mexico City since 2017.
We strive to create a community that welcomes every person no matter their identity, culture, or sexuality. We also welcome allies from every corner of the world that want to understand and support our mission.
ELLXS celebrates the diversity of human experience by speaking up against discrimination of any type. The project is a pledge against exclusion, in favor of radical inclusion, equality, and visibility.
We want to humanize the digital world; behind every word and every portrait there is a human story to be discovered.
